Joyous Celebration was founded in 1996 by  Lindelani Mkhize , Pastor Jabu Hlongwane and  Pastor Mthunzi Namba .The Joyous concept has always been enigmatic to a lot of people because of its format. They have been referred to as a Gospel group or Gospel Choir.They prefer to be referred to as a Gospel Project or a Gospel Concept. The reason being that, is because the crew changes at least every two years. The concept is basically created in such a way that performers are selected through an intense auditioning process, after which they attend music workshops. During these workshops they learn skills such as songwriting to performance. We then rehearse a repertoire for about two months. After that the crew is on the road for the whole year. Authorities in Tanzania have undoubtedly confirmed that popular gospel music artistRose Muhando has aborted a 7 month old pregnancy. Muhando who already has 3 children wanted a children but the pregnancy developed complications that compelled her to terminate it. Under Tanzanian laws, any person who ends the life of a pregnancy prematurely for reasons other than medical and health is liable to a jail term of not less than 7 years. Muhando could have a lee-way considering her pregnancy developed health complications. Every detail of Muhando’s case will be closely examined considering her stature and the uproar it has caused on social media. Gospel artist Peace Mulu who sang the hit gospel track  Ombea Adui Yako   is admitted at the Kenyatta National Hospital private wing after a road accident along Kangundo road. She broke her right thigh bone .She was  from a video shoot when the vehicle that they were traveling in   collided head on with a personal car leaving three occupants of the matatu injured.
