Joyous Celebration was founded in 1996 by  Lindelani Mkhize , Pastor Jabu Hlongwane and  Pastor Mthunzi Namba .The Joyous concept has always been enigmatic to a lot of people because of its format. They have been referred to as a Gospel group or Gospel Choir.They prefer to be referred to as a Gospel Project or a Gospel Concept. The reason being that, is because the crew changes at least every two years. The concept is basically created in such a way that performers are selected through an intense auditioning process, after which they attend music workshops. During these workshops they learn skills such as songwriting to performance. We then rehearse a repertoire for about two months. After that the crew is on the road for the whole year. Since he set his foot into Joyous Celebration, he has created a wave of  impact into the project .  From Tambira Jehova , Ichokwadi , Namata , Wasara Wasara and now Hakuna Zvinorema , Mkhululi Bhebhe has been very outstanding in his performances. The strength he sings with will leave you with no other option but liking his work. He has made many people love Shona , A language from Zimbabwe that Joyous Celebration sings so fluently as if every choir member is a Shona. GLORIA MULIRO'S AUTO BIOGRAPHY

Gloria was born to David Muliro and Esther Muliro. She went to Emanyinga Primary School where she sat for her KCPE exams before enrolling at St. Theresa Academy for her secondary education. She later joined the International Teachers Training College, Dagoretti for a two-year teaching course which she completed but had her final results withheld by the school owing to the huge debt she owed the school in form of school fees she was however able to acquire them after working as house help for a couple of months, her breakthrough finally came when she got a teaching job at a local school.   Gloria was interested in music from as far as 1997 when she was still in school but due to financial challenges she was not able to venture into the music industry.
